What is the difference between aerials and cirque?

Within the Cirque class, students will be able to progress through 6 levels of Aerials (silks & lyra).

The Aerials class is our extension program for students who are looking to take their aerials skills to the next level. To enrol in Aerials, students MUST also enrol in the Cirque class to allow them to get the full benefit of the program

The aerials class will incorporate additional strength and flexibility drills to assist students to move through the levels more quickly. Students will also work on their endurance and performance ability by connecting multiple skills to create a solo aerials routine. All aerials extension students are invited to perform in our annual aerials showcase.

What is the team class and can my child enrol?

PCDA Teams classes are for those dancers who are wanting a little bit more and to be part of a team who have more performance opportunities throughout the year.

Being involved in a PCDA Competition Team is a highly rewarding experience for a student and sees them develop a strong sense of teamwork and ‘PCDA Spirit’.

Due to the teamwork involved in being a PCDA Competition Team student, there are certain eligibility criteria that must be met.
